Humberto Ravelo

Mr. Ravelo has over 44 years of Combined Industry and Government civilian experience in support of design/development and management of Government Communication Systems, Testing and Training Instrumentation and Information Technology Systems.


Mr. Ravelo’s experience encompass eight 8 years in corporate executive roles, COO, CDO, & CAO; Fifteen (15) years as Army Acquisition’s Program Manager, Ten (10) years Project/Program Manager of Avionics Systems, Telemetry, Communications & Testing Systems and twelve (12) years in Systems & Design Engineering.


Mr. Ravelo began his career in 1979 with Harris Corporation, Syosset NY in support of Government (NAVY, Marines, Air Force and Army) Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) development. During his twenty-two-years employment at Harris Corporation, Government Aerospace/Communications Systems Division GASD & GCSD, he participated in all phases of the acquisition life Cycle of Avionics testing, telemetry and RF communication instrumentation development. He held numerous leadership roles in support of high dollar value, highly complex DoD programs. He enjoyed a diversified career as a member of the Harris' Program Management Office, Systems Engineering, Advanced Engineering, Software and Hardware Systems Integration and in Hardware/Software Design.


In 2001, Mr. Ravelo joined NavAir Orlando, Training Systems Division (former NAWCTSD) where he assumed responsibilities as a consultant in direct support of Army programs. During his time at NAWCTSD, he gained training experience in both the Live and Constructive simulation domains.


In April of 2004 Mr. Ravelo transitioned over to the US Army, Program Executive office for Simulation and Training (PEOSTRI). During his 12 years tenure with PEOSTRI, Mr. Ravelo provided leadership, performed management, supervisory and engineering duties in support of US Army installations across the US and Outside the Continental US. He was instrumental in the fielding and modernization of over 143 training ranges and execution of over $700M in funding.


Mr. Ravelo Joined AITC as the Chief Operating Officer on March 1, 2016, responsible for providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company had the proper operational controls and reporting procedures in place to effectively grow the organization, ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. He established, monitored and evaluated overall corporate strategy to ensure bottom line performance, working capital and a high EBITDA. Mr. Ravelo established processes, provided operational and financial insights to ensure the company’s rapid and successful growth.


Mr. Ravelo holds advanced degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Business administration. He is a Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certified Program Manager and Systems Engineer.
